Gallery of Concerts and Competitions
Finger Waltz believe every music or dance dream includes a stage, so we offer various opportunities for students to perform, either in a recital or in a competition. We hope they could enjoy performing and become a real artist in the future. Here are some videos and photos of our concert and competitions.
2020 5th Steinway Youth Piano Competition
2020 5th Steinway Youth Piano Competition was conducted by online live stream because of the Covid-19 pandemic. On 30th May, our student Xiao Yanlin had won 1st place in Amateur Class Category 1.
2019 Singapore National Piano Competition
Our Student, Lim Tze Kai Iden joined 2019 Singapore National Piano Competition and qualified Semi-final round.
2019 Europe Music Tour
We have organised our students to visit Budapest to join Steinway Artist Adam Gyorgy Castle Academy for a week in June 2019.
Students had the opportunities to learn with Professors from Liszt Academy of Music and rehearsed concerto with orchestra.
2019 Ningbo (China) Masterclass
Our principal Dr. Wu Yang was invited to conduct masterclass in Ningbo and gave a speech in Ningbo University in 2019.
2019 3rd Singapore International Classical Piano Competition
As one of the organiser, Finger Waltz help International Music Culture Association Singapore to held the competition in Aug 2019. The Preliminary Round took place in Finger Waltz Recital Hall. Our students also joined the competition and won several prizes.
2019 Finger Waltz Music Festival
On 3rd June, we had held our school concert in Esplanade.
2018 2nd Singapore International Classical Piano Competition
As one of the organiser, Finger Waltz help International Music Culture Association Singapore to held the competition in Aug 2018. The Preliminary Round took place in Finger Waltz Recital Hall. Our students also joined the competition and won several prizes.
2017 Singapore International Classical Piano Competition
2017 Singapore International Classical Piano Competition is organized by IMCAS, International Music Culture Association Singapore. The Final round took place on 27 August 2017 in Lee Foundation Theatre. Dr. Wu Yang, the director of Finger Waltz, was one of the juries of this competition.
83 competitors from 11 countries had joined the finals and divided into 8 categories.
12 students of Finger Waltz had joined the competition. They had won 2 first prizes, 5 second prizes, and 6 third prizes.

Finger Waltz Music Festival 2017
Finger Waltz Music Festival 2017, same as last year, was hold at Esplanade, the most famous performing arts centre in Singapore, on 23rd and 24th May 2017. During the two nights performance, 47 students aged 5 to 29, had a wonderful experience in the luxurious venue.

"Piano Friends" 6th International Piano Competition Junior Session (Milan, Italy), 17th Valsesia Music Juniors International Competition (Varallo, Italy)
in June 2016, 3 students of our school flied to Italy to join two international piano competitions. They played very well and had won 5 prizes in these two competitions.

in October 2015, 2 students of our school joined 2015 Singapore International Youth Piano Competition and won 3 prizes in 3 different categories. Well Done!
